The teacher is droning on in the lecture hall when he spots a student sleeping, way up in the back row.

The teacher shouts to the sleeping student’s neighbour: “Hey, wake that student up!“

To which Nasruddin, the youth’s neighbour, calls back: “You put him to sleep, teacher — you wake him up!“
